FM Procurement Manager - FTSE100 Services Firm

FM CATEGORY MANAGER - HARD SERVICES - GLOBAL SERVICES FIRM - LONDON/ FLEXIBLE WORKING - £65-75K + CAR ALLOWANCE + 20% BONUS - SUCCESSION PLANNING

My client is a global organisation providing premium security services to clients across both public and private sector. They employ over half a million employees have over 100+ years' experience across the group creating true experts in the security industry.

This role will be responsible for hard services across facilities management, where you will take lead on supplier negotiations, devising and implementing category strategies and setting up commercial contracts. Working alongside the Head of Procurement, this is a critical role in the business as the successful individual will be part of succession planning for a Head of Procurement role in the coming years.

FM Procurement Category Manager responsibilities:

  • Full autonomy over the hard services categories, including supplier negotiation and commercial contracts
  • Develop and execute the three year Facilities Management category sourcing strategies whilst incorporating the business need, appropriate suppliers and market dynamics which provide stragic options to unlocking value and driving efficiencies in the category
  • Be recognised as Procurement expert of all category spend for hard and soft services including buildings, maintenance, catering services and minor/ major project works.
  • Work alongside the Head of Procurement and Procurement Director as a point of contact for all hard services related

FM Procurement Category Manager requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • MCIPS (desirable)
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings within facilities management
  • 5-10 years' experience
