My client are a consumer brand, providing exciting new products into our retailers on a monthly basis. They are based in the Salisbury area and offer the opportunity to lead their supply chain and NPD projects.
The Forecast Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Analysing customer sales out data to report on promotional activities, historical sales trends and sales trends by category
Monitoring and reporting forecast accuracy vs. actual activity, explaining and reacting to variances in a timely fashion.
Communicating forecast changes and variances to Purchasing and Operations
Working internally with Operations to ensure ongoing activities align with customer expectations from a Forecast, Purchasing, and Operational perspective
Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and suppliers
The Forecast Analyst must have a demonstrated background in planning within a consumer environment.
You must have ability to work to tight deadlines and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyse and interpret large volumes of data for developing fact-based business assumptions
Experience in using ERP and/or MRP systems
