Global IT Procurement Senior Manager

This technology and telecomms giant with an award-winning procurement function needs an experienced IT procurement professional to join the team during a period of exciting growth and change. The role requires a strong grasp on the end to end process of IT procurement, but in return offers great prospects for quick career progression, and the opportunity to work for an iconic brand. The company has a strong track record of innovation and is a market leader in its field.

This role is based in London or the South East of England.

IT Procurement Senior Manager Role Overview:

  • Managing a procurement capability which is vital to the success of the company, by getting the most out of third-party suppliers and partners to provide quality IT infrastructure and desktop solutions.
  • Responsible for executive stakeholder manager both internally and externally. Including maintaining relationships with key strategic big-name suppliers.
  • Effectively develop and own strategy over all aspects of IT procurement, whilst ensuring operational excellence.
  • Responsible for supplier management cross country and dealing with global supply chains.

IT Procurement Senior Manager Requirements:

  • Expert understanding of IT hardware procurement, including emerging technologies
  • Strong academic track record, MCIPS desired but not essential
  • Proven track record of managing key supplier relationships and complex strategic requirements, particularly in the IT category or similar categories (manufacturing, Professional services)
  • Experience at a similar procurement manager level, and an understanding of IT operations in a large organisation
  • British or EU passport or holding a valid visa allowing you to live and work in the UK without any restriction

Salary: £60-70k basic + bonus + Car Allowance
