My Client is recruiting for a Head of Category, you will be required to lead strategy for various service contracts which can be either high level or lower-level projects. Preferably you will have worked in an extensive and significant procurement role within a stakeholder tactile environment. The right candidate will have the following qualities;

• A hand on approach for achieving some deliveries as well as developing strategy within a category approx. spend 100 million
• A self-starter who has dealt with a complex organisation
• Relish a challenge in a changing environment
• Overcome difficult stakeholders
• Knowledge of the medical industry/labs an advantage
• Electrical components knowledge (not essential)

Driving change,showing commercial acumen, you will be working on multiple technology tenders for a number of projects across the organisation thus ensuring that all procurement activity is fit for purpose and provides best value.

This role would be suitable for Head Procurement buyer or Head of Procurement or Head of Category or Category Specialist Senior Procurement Project Manager or Procurement Specialist or Senior Sourcing Manager
