Your new role
As Procurement Coordinator / Buyer for the facilities you will be responsible for supporting the wider function on a global level, and maintaining on-going supplier relationships for sub-categories including HR services, office supplies, cleaning, office refurbishment etc. You will provide spend and data analysis for any on-going and up-coming projects which will define the procurement strategy going forwards. You will look for any opportunity to streamline vendors across the business and implement any new processes within procurement. The spend levels within the category are multi-million pounds and interaction with a global team will be necessary for success in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this area you do not need to be a category specialist within a particular category but experience within Indirect service procurement is necessary. You should be available to start a new role ideally within a few weeks. You will understand the importance of procurement and the steps you need to take from spend and supplier analysis to tender processes and contract award. You will be well educated and have a strong head on your shoulders.
