Map and evaluate all processes for all Operations functions, implementing and improving processes, areas of focus include:
Participation in selecting a new ERP system, defining scope for new IT systems, develop project plan and lead implementation in operational areas, support implementation across the business.
Analysis of the service repair operation, identifying process and quality improvements, potential cost reductions and implementing and monitoring appropriate and achievable SLA's.
Cost analysis of stock, storage and logistics with recommendations for improvement or cost-downs
Evaluation of 3rd party logistics suppliers,freight utilisation, costs and SLA's.
The customer journey and SLA's/KPI data. Development of a customer helpdesk to ensure customers feel supported and listened to.
Improve visibility of sales orders and order processing times
Review of current functional structure, making recommendations for changes to accommodate changes and enhance the customer experience.
The successful Interim Logistics Consultant will show evidence of:
Experience of implementing ERP
Experienced in analysis, developing and embedding new processes and working practices in Logistics Distribution and Supply chain.
An understanding of mobile devices or telecoms
Conversant with overseas transfer pricing and cross boarder operations
Managing people through change
Building scalable operational systems in high growth environments
- Be available to start at short notice.
- Be willing to travel to a European location, with a base location of Bristol.
The successful Interim Logistics Consultant will be offered between £400 and £600 per day dependent on experience within Logistics distribution and supply chain.
