This organisation are taking their procurement team back internally from an outsourced business consultancy.
They are in need of an interim to help them make the transition and embark on exciting projects across multiple categories. The organisation have a forward thinking reputation and can offer a supportive environment in a close knit team.
Your new role
This interim 3 to 6 month position will be responsible for reviewing and implementing changes in procurement processes and service.
The role will be heavy on stakeholder engagement and will cover multiple indirect service categories. By utilising experience and knowledge of local authority, the successful candidate will be able to assist with existing contracts and also add value to complex high value tenders when needed.
OJEU tendering should be understood and generalist category experience within local government would be advantageous. A keen eye for detail on existing documentation and templates for tendering or supplier on-boarding is essential along with confidence in contractual review.
