Interim Procurement Support

A large government client


Co-ordinate tender/project work plan (pipelines)
Conduct reports for the Procurement Manager
Lead/support the Senior Buyers/Buyers resource on complicated tenders/ category management projects
Ensure that all processes are documented and adhered to by the team
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
Be a subject matter expert, providing efficient coaching and training and technical expertise
Proactively identify purchasing opportunities in all categories in order to
support the various departments to reduce costs and improve service

Assist Procurement Manager/Category Manager to drive the timely completion and maintenance of a category management process

Acts as an active project lead/contributor as appropriate, ensures project outcomes are achieved on time and of the required quality.


Must be au-fait with PCR2015 and OJEU processes

Must be able to start quickly

Ideally will be CIPS qualified or Qualified by Experience

Job Offer

An initial 6 month contract with a view to extend for a further 6 months performance dependant
