Internal Logistics Manager

Leading Manufacturer in Manchester


The Key responsibilities for the Internal Logistics Manager are:

  • Manage day to day internal Logistics operations
  • Daily walk around and KPIs - no direct reports but oversees the internal operation
  • Daily/Monthly/quarterly reviews with internal 3PLs in coordination with Logistics Services
  • Keep the team prepared on contingency plans defined to assure efficient operations
  • Stock level management and required readiness when lack of stock coordinated with other teams involved
  • Control internal logistics costs
  • Manage service contracts defined by Logistics Services
  • Manage Lorry park - trucks and drivers
  • Manage Internal 3PL Master plan
  • If required, manage all fleet including FLT's and cherry pickers
  • Own area maintenance requirement co-ordination with maintenance team
  • H+S management
  • Quality management
  • Budget Management


To be the successful candidate you will:

  • Have 3+ years experience in a similar, FMCG role
  • 3PL multi client experience
  • A strategic vision
  • Be innovative and initiative
  • Be an analytical thinker
  • Impeccable team work
  • Be client orientated


  • Health and Safety (IOSH or NEBOSH)
  • Manufacturing experience

Job Offer

£40,000-£45,00- DOE

24 days holiday + stats
