Your new role
In this position you will lead a small team of Materials & Stock Controllers to ensure inventory accuracy in multiple stock holding locations, supporting a fast moving manufacturing site. With your team you will ensure Production receive the materials they need, by maintaining optimal stock levels, minimising obsolescence, running cycle counts, handling stock reconciliations and write offs, handling investigations and more.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role, have the necessary technical skills around Stock Management, Numeracy, use of WMS, and attention to detail. In addition you will be a collaborative and people focused manager, able to support and develop your team, as well as work effectively alongside other stakeholders in the leadership team. Your CV should demonstrate relevant experience and achievements, using metrics to indicate scale of responsibilities and achievements wherever possible. You will be familiar with a fast moving and KPI driven environment, and enjoy striving for continuous improvements. Familiarity with formal Lean techniques is an advantage but not essential.
