IT PROCUREMENT BUYER - GLOBAL FTSE100 CONSUMER GOODS BRAND - LONDON / FLEX - 6M FTC - £36-40K + PACKAGE

Based in state of the art offices in London, the IT Buyer will be responsible for delivering cost savings across Infrastructure, Telecoms, Applicatoins and Cloud Services, reporting into the Global IT Procurement Manager.
IT Procurement Buyer Responsibilities:
Commercial IT due diligence: An understanding of application development solutions as far as key drivers for costs are known and how to control these in line with agile, waterfall or hybrid methodologies. Familiar with the risks associated with IT sourcing and how to identify and mitigate these using commercial levers during a procurement process
Technology procurement strategy:Apply the Global IT procurement strategy that is aligned with the overall corporate IT and business strategy priorities and translate due diligence into a negotiation strategy. Develop a thorough understanding of license models to be able to lead the evaluation of optimal sourcing and pricing options to consider with typical IS solution vendors including Cloud, On premise and hybrid solutions.
IT Procurement Buyer requirements:
