IT Category Manager - east London

IT Procurement Lead - Global FTSE 100 Financial Services Firm - £60 - 70k + Package - East London / Flex Working

Due to recent growth, one of the most revered FTSE 100 Financial Services firms worldwide is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to be a pivotal player in driving the Technology Sourcing Hub towards best-in-class.

As IT Procurement Lead you will:-

Build strong executive stakeholder relationships to ensure that Technology Procurement is seen as an integral part of this rapidly growing FTSE 100 brand

Lead major strategic sourcing programmes across Software, Hardware, Telecoms & Professional Services categories, developing and implementing innovative category strategies to drive the function towards best-in-class

Manage and mentor a junior IT Procurement specialist (3 years experience), assisting in their development in the function

Required skills, experience & qualifications:-

Strong IT procurement & strategic sourcing experience, with extensive dealings with the likes of Microsoft, Oracle, Symantec, HP, IBM, Accenture

Significant end-to-end procurement / purchasing experience throughout the entire contract lifecycle, including ITT, RFP, RFQ, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management and stakeholder management

Experience of working as a Buyer, Senior Buyer and Procurement / Sourcing Manager in a leading Blue Chip / FTSE 250 company

Degree / MCIPS (or studying towards)
