Your new role
This role is focusing on the telecoms category across this global companies IT spend. You will be supporting the category strategy and managing key suppliers effectively. You will be monitoring market trends, risks and finding opportunities to make changes and implement savings. Your role will entail building strong, long lasting relationships with key business stakeholders and vendors to be a trusted advisor in the telecoms category. You will advise on best practice, create sustainable plans and manage risks well.
What you'll need to succeed
A background in IT procurement is key to succeeding in this position. Ideally, you will have worked in a construction or FM environment before but this is not essential. You must have excellent knowledge of contract terms and conditions and clear evidence of strong stakeholder management and negotiation. The ability to identify problems and quickly fix them is key as this is a fast paced, complex and commercial role.
