DESCRIPTION

A fast-growth procurement consultancy is looking to bring on-board an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join their in-house consulting team following the acquisition of a number of key projects. This is an opportunity to break into the exciting and fast paced world of Procurement Consulting and be engaged in a wide range of IT Sourcing projects for a multitude of clients all the while expanding your knowledge of Strategic Procurement. You will be working alongside a top-class procurement team and leading projects for a variety of national and global clients.

The IT Strategic Sourcing Manager must have:

Previous Strategic Sourcing/Procurement experience within a sizeable procurement function with a strong knowledge of the IT and Telecoms category
Excellent project management, contract management, negotiation and end-to-end sourcing skill - running RFP & RFQs
Must be highly motivated to work in a fast-moving organization and work well with ambiguity
Excellent communication skills to work in a client-facing role
Strong analytical skills and competency with Excel
Must have the ability to act as a change-enabler and have the motivation to be a team-leader as the company grows
Must have BA/BSc degree in Business, IT, Engineering or similar field
