You will join one of the Leading Professional Services Consultancies in Central London sitting in their in-house procurement function. The procurement function has a fantastic reputation in the business and the team have senior level buy-in as well as an established category management structure.
Your new role
This is an end-to-end IT & Telco Procurement role whereby you will be managing three key areas; Risk Management, Relationship management and Strategic Sourcing. On a day-to-day basis you will build rapport/relationships with your key internal stakeholders to ensure you are able to deliver maximum value when sourcing for their requirements. You will work closely with your stakeholder group to develop and implement sourcing strategies with the aim of delivering innovation, efficiency and effectiveness for the IT category.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have end-to-end experience with indirect (services) procurement categories. IT categories are highly desirable, however if you have solid non-IT category experience looking to grow in the IT space it would be worth applying. You will need strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to clearly articulate your value-add proposition. The team are tight-knit so people skills are key and a strong desire to learn and develop will go a long way. You will need to be competent with negotiating contracts and contractual terms.
