Junior Purchasing Analyst

£ 160 – 175 per day inside IR35

Homebased before moving to London

Due to recent rapid growth, my client has an urgent need for an analyst to join their expanding team.

Main purpose of the job 

Working as part of a category or the strategy and operations team as a supportive and hands on team member 
Providing analytical support to individual projects and procurements as directed  
Working with team to identify matrix and measures to support performance management  
Supporting procurement and commercial contract management activity 

Duties and responsibilities 

Supporting team(s) with administrative and other team support activities 
Analysing data and trends to support effective commercial decisions and drive Value for Money (VfM) decision making 
Producing reports as requested by the Commercial Analyst and ensuring these meet the required objectives and outputs  
Planning and organising project or team meetings and events 
Maintaining records and information, using SharePoint and other MS office tools  
Supporting contract administration  
Working collaboratively with analytical team and other stakeholders to ensure data and intelligence to support VfM decision making is robust and available 

Essential

• Advance level standard and GCSE A*-C in English and Maths
• Can evidence how they produce accurate information with a sharp attention to detail
• Experience in report production and analytics with complex data – very numerical
• MS Office
• Strong Excel
• Strong comms and interpersonal skills – ability to influence through data, evidence and analysis
• Self-initiative and time management
• Proactive and effective team player
