The Logistics Analyst is pivotal in managing the processes of inbound stock delivery, outbound order delivery and all reverse logistics, meeting the requirements as set by the Logistics Manager. The Logistics Analyst plays a key role in supporting the development of the wider business and will participate in projects and work groups as required.
Duties will include:
Maintain the record of all Import, Export and Transfer movements, in a timely manner
Ensure consistent service and capacity to meet customer expectations
Take guidance on balancing operational capability with intake demand, ensuring the best outcome is reached towards stock availability
Achieve maximum cost efficiency without compromising lead times and stock availability
Prepare and record information to meet with all regulatory and/or legislative requirements governing the import & export of goods specific to the range plan & activity
Administrate the customer offering, to deliver variety in service but ultimately an extension of the high standards of consumer experience - across outbound and returns
Prepare and administrate all reporting as required by the Logistics Team
Collate, analyse and report on logistics data to enable best informed decisions
Prepare and administrate the necessary tools for Customer Services to respond to and satisfy, any delivery queries or issues in an informed and timely manner
Administrate the most efficient solutions for shipment preparation and labelling
Ensure ability to meet with all regulatory and/or legislative requirements governing the import & export of goods specific to delivery proposition
The right candidates for this role will have experience at a similar level ideally from within a freight forwarding business. You will likely educated to degree level and will have excellent levels of communication and high levels of commercial numeracy. Strong analytical skills and basic presentation writing and presenting skills are also important.
