Manager/Senior Manager - Consultancy

Procurement Manager/Senior Manager Consultant role for an award-winning Procurement Consultancy in London

Your new company
You will join a growing Procurement Consultancy based in London (Zone 2). They are an award-winning organisation who have a wealth of experience/talent in their workforce. Their service ranges from strategy development, cost optimisation, managed services, transformation and technology services. They only recruit high calibre candidates who have a desire to gain exposure in different environments and want to excel their careers in a procurement capacity.

Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for leading complex/challenging client procurement activity and support projects to identify performance efficiencies, cost reductions and transformational change. Key stakeholder groups will be at C-suite and from FTSE100 organisations. You will be responsible for the oversight of projects on client site where team sizes can range from 5 to 20 Analysts, Consultants and Managers.

You will also be responsible for developing business opportunities with existing and new clients, overseeing business development activity within a certain area. There may be requirements at time to lead more than one workstreams at a time with different clients, so it is important to be able to demonstrate the ability to manage workload/time effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering value in previous organisations. As expected, with a role of this importance, your communication/interpersonal skills need to of the highest standard. Flexibility and adaptability are key skills in this role as you will be dealing with not only with the wide array of stakeholder groups but also different locations and types of organisations.
