We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to join us to drive high quality procurement focussed analysis to improve commercial decision-making. This will directly impact the way our procurement team and managers across our organisation make informed choices, as well as improving work practices, to ensure we can deliver our strategy of Making What Matters Brilliant.
You’ll be supporting the procurement team to provide specialist procurement spend analysis, looking at mechanisms of procurement spend across the business and ensuring the integrity of high-quality analytics and management information. You’ll use your insight and judgements to provide recommendations for business focussed continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the organisational spend and procurement behaviours to identify opportunities for efficiency, whilst building strong professional relationships.
Our ideal candidate? You’ll be an analytical thinker, with demonstrable experience and understanding of the public sector procurement regulations and environment. You’ll have experience of working with procurement and finance systems and have strong IT skills, as well as having strong communication skills and the ability to influence others. In this role you’ll be ensuring data integrity and providing concise analysis to support business decisions.
