1st Executive in partnership with a privately owned, independent financial services organisation, is seeking a Procurement Lead to work in Surrey and London.
Working with an international procurement team of circa 60 employees, with a $700m spend, in a culture based on consensus, you will play a pivotal role in delivering efficiency improvements across systems, tools, processes and reporting & analytics.
You will manage a team of 2 direct reports and indirectly manage another 2.
There are 46 change programmes within the business that Procurement are involved in.
This role will require knowledge of the end to end Procurement process and a strong grasp of the 'big picture' from a business perspective.
You must be comfortable presenting to senior management.
Typical challenges faced will be engaging and ensuring that your agenda is on areas such as Legal, Risk, IT security, data protection, anti-bribery and corruption etc.
Success would look like having robust systems and data strategies in place.
