Your new company
You will be joining an organisation that is facing a period of growth and change since the appointment of a new Executive Director who is making changes all for the better. They are based just outside of Birmingham City Centre - accessible via public transport, in very nice offices.
Your new role
You will be the first person in a Procurement role for the organisation so you will be tasked with starting the function from scratch from day 1. It is imperative that you are managing and influencing internal stakeholders as they have not had to change their purchasing habits and will have established relationships that may need to be changed. You will be tasked with setting the strategy and implementing it as you will need a strategy to work towards in this organisation given the complexity of some of the departments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be MCIPS qualified with a solid background in Procurement, experience in a sole charge role would be preferable as this is essentially what this position is going to be initially.

You will receive a generous salary between £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience and also a desirable benefits package.
