Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Commodity Manager
A key strategic role working for a Global Manufacturing organisation based in Suffolk. Working as part of a high-performing, established senior leadership team, this role will be responsible for developing and embedding a procurement strategy on a global basis that achieves against KPIs set pertaining to cost reduction, risk management and global sourcing. Key elements of the role will include: working with and developing a global supply base; negotiating and implementing Supplier agreements; leverage supplier capabilities; work closely with site and global stakeholders; drive continuous improvement across the supply base; and provide support to the Engineering and R&D teams as opportunities arise. This role will suit a candidate with demonstrable experience across the above remit with a manufacturing/engineering or automotive background a preference. The role requires strong leadership skills and a proven ability to influence and across all levels of an organisation with CIPS qualification desired. With a high-performing and highly experienced and stable team in place, there is significant scope for both personal and career development.
