PROCUREMENT MANAGER – Birmingham - £40-50K + PACKAGE – FTSE 100

A leading UK based blue chip organisation is looking for a procurement professional with strong general indirect experience including HR, Travel or Facilities Management to be part of their corporate procurement team based in London

This procurement role will involve:
  • Managing a team of procurement professionals and leading all procurement projects across categories across HR, Travel, FM and IT
  • Preparation and implementation of the procurement sourcing strategies
  • Advising and recommending on policy and sourcing solutions
  • Sourcing, liaison and negotiation with senior stakeholders

The following procurement skills are required:
  • Experience working in large corporate procurement departments covering indirect purchasing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to demonstrate significant maturity and professionalism
  • Experience of developing sourcing strategies and be able to efficiently deal with all aspects of tendering processes
  • The ideal candidate will be degree educated and relevant procurement qualifications would be advantageous
