Procurement Manager - Capex

Supply Chain Manager - Global Defence Organisation - Surrey/Hampshire + Flexi Working - Competitive Salary + Excellent Package

Due to a fantastic period of recent growth, this Market-Leading Defence Organisation is looking for a new Supply Chain Manager to join their recently transformed strategic procurement function. Based on their exponential growth internationally over the past year, the organisation is one of the most secure that are currently recruiting in this space. The role itself has come about purely due to this growth and will look after the end to end procurement of some of the most business-critical industry-specific equipment and capital!

As Supply Chain Manager, you will: -

• Have autonomy over the end to end procurement for various categories across Equipment and Capital, ranging from Hi-tech Machinery to Raw Materials
• Lead on the strategic sourcing on a number of £multi-million contracts, interacting with some of the organisation's most high-profile customers
• Act as a Capex and Equipment Procurement SME both internally and externally when collaborating with the bid teams
• Interact with C-Suite stakeholders on a daily basis, gaining fantastic exposure not only in the UK but on a global scale

Supply Chain Manager, required background: -

• Procurement/Supply Chain experience within a Defence/Aerospace organisation or similar heavy industry focused organisation (Automotive, Construction, EPC) is a necessity
• End to end category management experience, ideally across Capex and Industry-Specific Equipment
• Strong contracts and stakeholder management skills
• Degree + CIPS (beneficial but not essential)
• Right to work in the UK and ability to obtain Security Clearance
