Extraordinary Procurement Roles.

MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, our UK intelligence agencies, work together to keep the country safe. Our procurement teams play a vital role in this, providing expert services which have a direct impact on our success. We’re now searching for enthusiastic Procurement Managers who can assist in developing outstanding procurement teams.

About the role

These are extraordinary procurement roles working in sensitive operational areas. As well as monitoring contract performance and analysing risk, you’ll help manage a small commercial team. By encouraging your colleagues to take up training and continuous professional development, you’ll enhance the impact they have on our agencies.

We’re recruiting in specialisms including Estates, IT, Professional Services and roles within the Procurement Hub. So we’re particularly interested in people with knowledge in these areas. There’ll be opportunities to move between specialisms, so having experience in one doesn’t mean you can’t join another.

About you

We’re looking for people with a background in developing procurement supply chain services and who know how to apply best-practice processes and methodologies. You’re a strong communicator who’s comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels – from project managers to directors. And your natural ability to inspire others likely comes from previous experience leading teams.

We’ll provide personalised support with your continuous professional development. If you don’t hold one already, we’ll help you work towards a MCIPS or business equivalent qualification.

The UK Intelligence Agencies are Equal Opportunities employers, committed to reflecting the society we protect. Our recruitment process is fair, transparent and based on merit. We particularly welcome applications from diverse and under-represented groups.
