Procurement Manager - Health and Social Care - up to £36K per annum
A new opportunity has arisen to work within a Public Sector organisation based in Armagh, Northern Ireland. This organisation caters to all Public Health and Social Care within Northern Ireland and works with an impressive budget of over £600million and has a procurement function of over 350 across various sites. Your immediate team consists of 12 people.
The role is for a Procurement Manager to liaise closely with Directors, Managers and all key stakeholders to implement value for money.
Manage the Procurement service and deputise as required for the Senior Procurement Manager.
Provide a cost effective procurement service and ensure optimum value for money is achieved.
Review key performance measures for the procurement function and take a lead role in monitoring use of value for money tools in the procurement of goods.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies and promote team working.
Assist in developing change management initiatives to procurement staff.
Lead and participate in developments and negotiations with key customers and suppliers.
Collaborate with other Procurement Managers in the development and negotiation or regional procurement opportunities.
