Prepare tender documents, manage the tender process and carry out tender evaluation, clarifications and negotiations.
Complete effective, clear and robust procurement administration processes, procedures and systems in line with requirements.
Provide accurate advice and guidance to internal customers and external project partners, as appropriate, concerning procurement processes and procedures, in a timely manner.
Participate in reviews, audits and other assurance related processes supporting compliance in order to avoid business exposure to litigation and risk.
- Use the accounting system to run reports and regular spend reports for senior management.
A minimum of at least two A Levels (or equivalent) or a CIPS Advanced Certificate qualification.
The possession of or studying towards a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in procurement and supply (or equivalent) or a genuine interested in studying CIPS.
Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills with the experience of funding requirements relating to publicly funded projects.
Confident user of databases and spreadsheets with the ability to analyse and manipulate data.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail with good oral and written communication skills.
Experience in working in the offshore renewable is desirable but not essential.
