Project Procurement Manager

My client is an award winning FTSE 100, who work across the globe in over 40 different countries. They have over 85,000 employees world wide, their personal vision is to be the premier international aerospace, security, defence and military company.


As the Project Procurement Manager, your key responsibilities will be assisting in the success of the procurement function. The ideal candidate will need to think commercially, being able to push cost savings through negotiations with suppliers. Another key responsibility for the Project Procurement Manager is to ensure that existing suppliers are satisfied as a key part of the role will be supplier relationship management


The successful candidate will need to be confident in their approach to their work within procurement, the ideal candidate will need to think outside of the box and think commercially. A broad knowledge of the procurement cycle will help, this opportunity will involve sourcing, cost negotiation, selection, contract, supplier relationship management. As the Project Procurement Manager your role will assist in the overall success of the business in Portsmouth and the UK.
