Purchasing Assistant

My client is a Leading FMCG business based in Guildford looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team as they look to expand.


The key responsibilities for the Purchasing Assistant based in Guildford are as follows:

  • Raise Purchase Orders
  • Maintain Supplier relationships and ensure that goods are delivered on time
  • Ensuring all Invoices are correct and paid
  • All data is correct within SAGE
  • Forecasting to ensure all stock levels are correct
  • Manage 3PL


The successful candidate for the Purchasing Assistant role will have the following skill set:

  • Degree level qualified
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Experience within Procurement and Supply Chain advantageous
  • SME business mindset
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
