Working for an organisation located in-between Barnsley and Doncaster, you will working for a market leading Industrial service provider. With fantastic travel links from the surrounding areas, the Head Office is easily commutable from South and West Yorkshire.
Your new role
Within your role as Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Procurement Assistants and for ensuring the best value for Procurements. You will manage the day to day activity and productivity of the Procurement function and team members and assist in the ongoing commercial management of suppliers, ensuring all compliance is met. You will audit suppliers where necessary and manage the business supply chains.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an effective manager, able to motivate and lead from the front whilst also being a strong negotiating, and confident when negotiating with suppliers. You will be commercially aware and have a proven customer focused approach. You will be familiar with working to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment and be an ambassador for the business.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive salary between £28,000-£30,000, based on experience and have free parking on site. Continued CPD will also be offered as part of the package.
