My Client are a household brand with a National Brand who are based in the North West.
With a huge Customer base and high volumes of sales having a world class procurement function is critical for a well run end to end supply chain.
You will be responsible for providing a source of expertise for major procurement activity across the organisation which includes supporting the delivery of a long term procurement plan.
You will be particularly focused on ensuring value for money is achieved from all expenditure and for making a significant annual contribution towards Organisation-wide savings and efficiency targets.
Act as the procurement lead for all GNFR, including IT and FM procurement activity as well as other categories and projects if appropriate
Have involvement in multi-disciplinary teams both within and outside the Finance Directorate.
Play a lead role in assisting the Head of Procurement leading the team through a period of transition, ensuring the new vision for the organisation is fully addressed from a procurement perspective.
MCIPS qualification or relevant equivalent experience
Degree level education or relevant equivalent experience
Ability to influence at all levels, including board level
Experience of GNFR category management
£55,000 - £65,000
