Supply Chain Manager

My client is a multi million pound retail organisation, expanding their presence in pretty much every country around the world year on year.

They are looking for Logistics / Supply Chain professionals to come and support them with their continued growth in the UK.


The main responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager for this role in Warwickshire are :

  • Lead and develop a team of Logistics professionals to deliver effectively on plan
  • Work with suppliers to ensure contract guidelines are met, monitor performance, and aid continuous improvement
  • Develop new ideas for cost saving methods throughout the Supply Chain
  • Work with Third Party Hauliers to agree Transport rates
  • Revenue transport and Logistics routes to ensure the most cost effective solutions
  • Meet with when necessary, suppliers, transport suppliers and freight forwarders


The successful Supply Chain Manager for this role in Warwickshire :

  • Strong Communication skills
  • A proven track record of working in a high pressured Logistics environment
  • Be analytically minded in order to deal with forecasting and ensure maximum availability
  • Have a fantastic understanding of carrier management and freight rates
  • Have experience of managing a 3PL
  • Experience of product life management in the supply chain
