Hays Supply Chain & Logistics are pleased to be assisting a globally recognised luxury goods brand in the Bristol area for the recruitment of a Supply Chain Project Lead to work on a 12-month FTC. This business is currently growing in international markets and are known for their strong brand and high-quality goods.
Your new role
As the Supply Chain Project Lead you will report to Senior leadership, up to Divisional CEO level. You will project manage initiatives and produce reports for senior leadership, working across functions leading peers, and managing upwards to Directors. Project size cost/savings up to $10M. You will mentor staff in Operational Excellence where required and lead Kaisen events to drive improvements across various functions. Contribute to long term plans for Supply Chain strategy, taking in to account productivity investment and capital expenditure. You will establish and maintain essential processes i.e. Best practice distribution, continual improvement projects, Safety, Staff development and motivation. Finally, you will be involved in Pan European projects (sometimes of a confidential nature).
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a motivated and committed individual with extensive experience working in a supply chain focused position. You will have experience working across an international remit and be able to lead projects across a global scale. You will have proven success in supply chain efficiency’s and have an analytical mindset. You will be able to lead operation efficiency within the supply chain with a constant focus to best practice and process improvement.
