The client are a much loved consumer brand who have been around for many years supplying into our catering and hospitality spaces. Based in Sutton, there is an opportunity here to develop your skills set within Supply Chain and Purchasing.
The Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the following:
Direct buying responsibility in a number of categories
Tendering and spend analysis
Contract/supplier negotiation and management
Supporting quarterly review & maintenance of Inventory investment plan
Providing all suppliers 6 month forecasts, on a bi-monthly basis for requirements, gathering and updating capacity chart information by supplier
Scheduling and raising import orders
Contributing to the delivery and effective use of the system within Operations
Supply Chain best practise and continuous improvement
The Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager must demonstrate excellent negotiation skills and ability to deliver accurate forecasts.
Communication is key given this role will liaise with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels of the business.
Must be keen to quickly further develop their career within a small/medium sized family owned company, and be able to turn their hand to anything.
This is a pivotal role for the business therefore you must have the ability to work to tight deadlines and have great attention to detail.
£40,000 - £45,000 plus package
