My client are a B2B supplier and manufacturer of FMCG products and import a high-volume of their products from Europe and the Far East. This is a very fast-paced environment with high SKU volume!
The Purchasing team is responsible for purchasing over 20,000 SKU's from a global supply base of over 500 suppliers. The successful candidate for this Supply Planner / Buyer role will have experience of inventory lead procurement process as they will be responsible for the management of a designated supply base and products.

My FMCG client are looking for a motivated candidate with a number of years' experience of working in a Purchasing or Supply Planning role to join their busy Purchasing & Supply Chain Team. The role is predominantly operational, working and communicating with all departments and needs a high level of tenacity.
The successful candidate for the Supply Planner / Buyer role will have previous purchasing experience within a high-volume (no. SKU's), fast-paced environment (ideally FMCG/Consumer products).
You will have strong working knowledge of MRP Systems (They use Sage X3 and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including strong supplier management.
The successful candidate will be offered c. £26,000 - £32,000 plus package Inc. bonus, 25 days holiday and pension. There may be flex for the perfect candidate.
