Role Purpose

The Sourcing Execution role will be located in a Procurement function with the principal accountability of leading a team of buyers to execute sourcing projects to deliver defined annual savings and value add projects. 

This Job will have direct reports and will report to the Head of Procurement.

The remit area may be a country, group of countries or a region.

The key tasks will include some or all of the following:.

Apply deep sourcing expertise to create and deliver continually robust and forward-looking (3-5 year) category plans that use the full range of supply and demand-side levers

Identify new outsourcing opportunities and assess their relevance and potential value to the organisation

Be a ‘trusted advisor' to the head of the respective business by constructively questioning their spend requirements and helping them control their budgets and manage external risks

Accountable for delivering procurement benefits and a high net promoter score with Procurement's business partners through functional management of all Procurement's Category resources which are also accountable for relationship management

support relationship management, co-ordinator for all Procurement related relationship management with the business and actively manages certain key business partners

Support the country Heads of Procurement and their teams in the execution of category plans and the achievement of savings

The Job holder may be required to hold credentials in the field of Procurement and may need to participate in external professional forums
